Books

Hey, I’m not the smartest guy in the world, but I’m certainly not the dumbest. I mean, I’ve read books like “The Unbearable Lightness of Being” and “Love in the Time of Cholera”, and I think I’ve understood them. They’re about girls, right? –Rob Gordon (High Fidelity)

Pres, here’s an observation. What cinema is to you? That’s what literature’s to me (except that I don’t read as much as I’d like to, lately). This list is presumably your favorite books, right? Couldn’t possibly be the only books you’ve read, right? Hehe. Your list seems to be severely lacking some Oscar Wilde, among others. Read the Picture of Dorian Gray? Or any of his plays? I’m taking it upon myself to inundate you with recommendations, though I’ve got to account for the possibility that you might have read much of what I have and disliked them.

I suck at making lists. I try to be as pretentious as I can but somehow I just come off as a tacky wannabe. :)

Yeah…you could say this is a list of my favorite books though there are plenty more I love but just can’t bother myself enough to list them out on a page. Plays…I’ve loved the few I’ve read…esp a few by Camus recently.

I doubt I’ll ‘hate’ your recommendations; maybe just not like them as much as you do. I truly believe good taste is universal. :)
